Iron & Oak
Iron & Oak is a neighborhood pub that pays homage to the craftsmen, laborers, and makers who built the town. Rooted in heritage and community, it blends rugged authenticity with warm hospitality. A place where the strength of iron meets the warmth of oak. Every detail, from the handcrafted tables to the locally brewed pints, reflects a spirit of pride, resilience, and connection.

Identity
I focused on creating a comprehensive visual identity and brand concept for Iron and Oak, heavily inspired by the narrative that it was a location shaped by the industries in the local town. I spent significant time conceptualizing what the brand represented, iterating on how its story, visuals, and messaging could best reflect its heritage.
When hearing Iron & Oak, I of course thought of the lumber and metal smithing industries. I then worked to incorporate these themes and concepts into the visual identity.
Menu Layouts
A significant portion of this project focused on designing the menu layouts. I aimed to accurately reflect what a pub like Iron and Oak would offer, not only in terms of food and drink selections but also in how the information was visually organized. The goal was to create menus that felt authentic to the brand, balancing readability, hierarchy, and the handcrafted, grounded aesthetic central to the pub’s identity.
Promotional Material & Packaging
The final phase of the project focused on extending Iron and Oak’s brand into a digital and physical presence. This included designing a website, packaging materials, and promotional assets that reflected the pub’s visual identity and story. The goal was to create a cohesive experience across all touchpoints, ensuring that both online and offline interactions conveyed the warmth, craftsmanship, and community-centered spirit of the brand.
